Waratah Cross Stitch Kit
I took this photo at the Australian Springtime Flora Festival at Mount Penang, near Gosford. It is held in the middle of September each year and is spectacular - go if you get the chance. This spectacular Waratah was in the Native Flowers hall where local flower arrangers display their talents. Unfortunately flower arranging has never been one of my talents so I have to just admire others. It would partner well with the Flowering Gum design.
The finished embroidery measures 8.5 x 11.5 inches or 215 x 290mm and uses 25 colours. It is worked on 14ct Aida cloth.
This is also available as a downloadable pattern or printed pattern.
